Carpathia Submersible Model with Stand – Detailed 3D Printed Display

Bring home a unique piece of maritime history with this first-of-its-kind 3D printed submersible model of the RMS Carpathia, famed for rescuing survivors of the Titanic disaster in 1912. This model is designed for submersible display and includes four detailed masts and a fitted stand for drying and presentation. Whether you're a collector, enthusiast, or educator, this piece makes a striking and meaningful addition.

Features:

  • The first model of its kind designed specifically for both water and display use.

  • Includes all four masts modeled to scale based on historical references.

  • Comes with a custom-fit stand for drying and display.

  • Fully submersible — perfect for bathtubs, pools, or educational demonstrations.

Care Instructions:
After submerging, shake the model gently to remove as much water as possible, especially through the central funnel, which functions as a natural drainage point. Place the model in a warm, dry location to ensure it dries thoroughly before the next use. This helps maintain its appearance and structural integrity over time.

Historical Notes:
The RMS Carpathia was a Cunard Line transatlantic passenger steamship launched in 1902. She became a legend in maritime history after she steamed through dangerous ice fields to rescue 705 survivors from the Titanic on April 15, 1912 (National Archives).
The ship met her end in 1918, when she was torpedoed and sunk by a German U-boat during World War I, approximately 120 miles west of Fastnet, Ireland (Naval History and Heritage Command).

This Carpathia model represents both a feat of design and a tribute to an unsung hero of the sea — an exclusive item that merges education, history, and craftsmanship.
